I own the black version of this addition Yamaha sub, i have it wired into my Denon amp, with tannoy speakers with a Denon dvd player, connection by optical audio. I own the black version of this addition Yamaha sub, i have it wired into my Denon amp, with tannoy speakers with a Denon dvd player, connection by optical audio. The sound out of this sub is absolultley unbelieveable, it provides a nice suttle bass, which can be ajusted to your spec. For music purposes it delievers the quality that you want, and as far as looks, i have it in piano black and it looks the part. I have used many subwoofers includign brands such as Kef, JBL, Monitor Audio, and depending on the system setup and products, this provides the bass very well with my system. I would reccommend this, and the Yamaha hard disk server which is a very good product which also delivers excellent quality.
