I started this pill back in the summer after comming off microgynon 30, as it was causing me all sorts of problems such as eczema, acne, weight problems, bloatedness etc. I gave myself a break over the summer period, and heard others talking about yasmin, and so, at the end of august I decided I would give this so often talked about 'Yasmin' a go.
This pill was great for me in many ways that it didn't change my mood or make me feel depressed or suicidal like 'Dianette' did. However, I did notice that approximately 3 weeks after I started this pill, I put up an extra 4lbs in weight, my breasts grew about 2 cup sizes, and I started to crave anything fatty, sugary or starchy. I only put on 4lbs because im quite active and have a very good diet (and will power) after a lifestyle change prior to microgynon 30 (which completely wrecked me in many ways). If I wasn't a bit of a health freak and ate whatever I wanted I'd say I could have easily packed on another half a stone with his pill.
The only drawback from Yasmin was the acne breakouts. I loved this pill and the fact that it made me slightly more curvacious, but not too heavy. I had acne breakouts with all the other pills also except for Dianette, however it made me feel suicidal, which was awful considering I was quite a happy, bubbly person at the time I began taking it. I broke out mostly around my chin, sometimes on my cheeks, and occasionally on my forehead. It wasn't unbelievably bad acne although it was noticeable. If it hadn't of been for this, I would still be taking Yasmin.
All in all, out of all the pills i've had so far Cerazette, Dianette, Microgynon 30...Yasmin has been the best, however, I would not recommend it to those of you who are acne prone before taking it, however, it can clear up skin for some people, unfortunately I didn't get this end of it.
