Yes Car credit, Even if they have all now closed, take this as a potential warning on any other similiar companys that pop up, I dont think you'll find much difference in them, as I've personally dealt with one myself, and they are just as big a nightmare.
I personally haven't had dealings with them, but members of my family have, and all have had a bad deal. As far as I am aware, most of there outlets in Stoke-on-Trent have now either closed down or in the process of closing down. Most of my family members were either in the mining or pottery industry and has such, been part of redundancies over the years. It seems to me, that Yes car credit, do their research well and jump into area's where they know, people are desperate but unable to obtain credit through the normal channels so pressure talk them into a sale, then add their massive Apr charges for the finance. The sales Staff are well educated in high pressure sales, and a lot under pressure from the peers to do well, even to the extent of putting their job at risk if they don't perform, this I know from talking to a former employee. They do offer a good assortment of vehicles to tempt all, come on when your driving an old banger on its last legs, and someone offers you a shiny new motor, and will accept you regardless of your financial position, they don't really need high pressure tactics, its always going to be hard to resist.
Out of four members of my family that have purchased cars through them, three didn't even make the first six months without problems, one of them quite major,
Trying to get the company to deal with your problems is a problem in its self, they don't want to know, and put all problems down to wear and tear, and basically refuse to do anything about it.
To sum up, Expensive Second Hand Cars. High Re payment costs. High Apr. Don't want to know when problems occur. High pressure sales tactics. Prey on the needy. Bad after sales service. Can be rude.
Really difficult to say much more about them, as they have been caught out by the BBC for scandalous reputation and now there backers Provident have called time on them, it seems that Yes Car credit, will soon be history, and rightfully so.
