Not only do I have my own 2 dogs and 7 cats, I also foster animals, then I wonder why I crash out at the end of the day. LOL. Also do an animal course at college full time.

Although very hard to find a local stockist it is worth taking the time to find someone who will supply it to you. Due to lack of availability it is quite expensive for a large sack but does come in smaller bags. It is made from recycled newspaper which also helps the environment at the same time. It is easy to scoop out any soiled litter and does not stick to the litter tray like the clump forming cat litters.
A very small amount is needed, just enough to cover the bottom of the litter tray as it expands when wet. There is very little trailing with this product and also absorbs moisture well. Fortunately I know people with a cattery that is prepared to sell me the occasional bag of Yesterday's News but it is not cheap at £9.00 for the large sack and £4.50 for the sack the next size down. I have only ever seen it being sold in one vets for £2.00 for a litre bag.
