York college, the union of the York Sixth Form Colleg and the York College of Further and Higher Education is a halfway house between school and university. As of its large size and has an almost campus layout it has that uni feel. However the fact that you still live at home and are well catered for indicate otherwise. It has a great many computer facilities and reasonable sporting ones. The campus os reasonable but a good lick of paint and a removal of all things 60s would not go amiss.

It is close to Tesco's nice food there, not to mention toys (well we are students!) There is a wide range of courses, from A levels to GNVQ's and evening courses, it even does diplomas. The college is dynamic and sucessful, well worth a look!
