    although i haven't used any other brokers, (expect one other online broker)i think yorkshare is a bit expensive. On average they charge you 1% of the shares' worth. I think the standard charge is too much. You have to pay for an start up fee. This is not too bad since it is only £15 and it is an one off. I although they charge you quite alot the service is good. The staff is helpful. You buy and sell shares via the telephone and you can nearly always get through the first time.
