Since the mid 1980’s I have been using Yves Rocher on and off. Main reason for starting was the low introductory prices and also that the products come from plant extracts which have not been tested upon animals. Now a days I would rather use Avon products, but I continue to buy Yves Rocher teas, as they are lovely and fruity, plus they often are packed as gift sets which I like to use for presents.

Yves Rocher products are not cheap but there are many incentives to encourage the customer to buy. These will be highlighted later in this opinion.

This is only a small selection of items. Yves Rocher produces The Green Book, to tell its customer about all the products on sale. It is renewed yearly free of charge.

Ordering

There are many ways to order, unfortunately online ordering is not yet available in the UK. The three main ways of ordering are:

By Telephone on 020 8845 1222 The lines are open from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday. The queue waiting time can be frustrating. Once though to a ‘Beauty Adviser’ the process is quick and the customer can be told in the items are in stock instantly.

By post using an order form. This again is a quick service. A pre-paid envelope is provided but the customer must pay for postage.

By fax on 020 8845 1023 Personally I have never used this service so cannot comment how effective it is.

Delivery is prompt and usually within seven days of ordering. Personally, I have never had a problem with this. If an item is missing a substitute is sent to replace it. The substitute product is always of a high quality.

Free Gifts

With every order made Yves Rocher provides and intensive usually in the form of a gift. The company usually asks the customer to spend around £25.00 to get this every order. At various times of the year Yves Rocher holds tombola. Each customer can win various gifts including a trinket pot, candles, flannels etc. Okay so they are not expensive, but it is nice to find them tucked in the box with the order.

With ever order free sample sachets can also be found. There is no guarantee what arrives though.

Special Offers

Yves Rocher has many of these special offers enticing its customers to buy more. They have 2 for the price of 1, 50% discounts, buy any item one a one off price, 40% discounts and many more besides.

Yves Rocher also have special offers, for non-cosmetic products. This includes a minimum order and a small cash payment. There is also an intensive to order quickly, as another special offer or gift will be open to the customer as well.

Postage and Packing

Here a further saving can be made. Yves Rocher offers free postage and packing for customers spending over £20.00. My advice is if you order be over £15.00, but under £20.00, order an extra shower gel. In effect you will be getting it too as a freebie or at worst at a reduced price.

Payment

First a cheques or postal Order, can be sent with the order as payment, made payable to Yves Rocher (London) Ltd.

Secondly there is the option of using a credit or debit card. Visa, MasterCard, Visa Delta and Switch are all accepted. I am spoilt for choice!

This is okay but if you like to keep your money in the bank, however about taking advantage of the three months interest free credit that Yves Rocher offer its customers. This is not a bad option, but do keep a note of the amount spent so you can check it off on your account in three months time.

Guarantee

I have never had to return a product yet. There is however a returns form on all invoices.

Yves Rocher does have retail outlet in most towns. Debenhams often has a small Yves Rocher counter with lots of special offers. Some cities also have a dedicated Yves Rocher shop so keep your eyes open, as there maybe one in your town!

This company has the added bonus of not require a set number of orders a year as with many mail order firms. You order when you want and how much you want. I have found it both flexible and prompt. Many of my friend and family also order from Yves Rocher and all are satisfied with the service. This company is ‘Natural Beauty at its best!’
