M7 is, in my opinion, the most daring and unique creation in men's scents for over a decade. As CK brings out another freshly smelling brand 'Truth', YSL has turned the game on its head and come out with what has been called 'intensely masculine and totally elegant'. For me, it jumps to the top of the heap of 'Oriental' fragrances for men.

So what does it smell like? The core of this scent is the extremely rare and valuable Agarwood of the Indian Sub Continent. This is a wood so precious, that it is said in its purest form it can attain a value that exceeds that of gold in the east. To those who are familiar with the scent of eastern incenses, agarwood is the jewel in the crown, so to speak, used for the most extravagant of buddhist/hindu festivities. This scent, the agarwood aura, is the dominant force behind M7.

To the unfamiliar nose, agarwood is a very strong and striking scent, and it is for this reason that M7 has received such shocking reviews. But backing up this piledriving ingredient, are the more familiar scents of amber, musk and vetiver. These help 'balance' the scent so that it is easier on the western nose.
