This perfume comes in a silver Perspex disc which opens to reveal a smaller disc inside which is actually the perfume bottle. The inside of the disc is a really deep blue colour. Cost Obviously I only paid £1.44 for my bottle of this perfume (although it was only half full!) but I have had a look online and have found this perfume is available at www.fragranceex.com for the following prices:

The Perfume Nu has top notes of bergamot, heart notes of wild orchid and base notes of incense, oakmoss, wood and spice. I would describe this fragrance as very sensual and it's also very unique, I can't think of another perfume in my collection that even smells similar to this one. I wouldn't really describe this perfume as girlie yet it still manages to smell feminine. It is quite musky and heavy although not unpleasantly so. I have also found that this perfume has excellent staying power. I literally put a couple of squirts on in the morning and I can still easily smell it much later in the day. In fact, whenever I wear this perfume, people always comment and ask what scent I am wearing so it goes to show just how noticeable this perfume is.
Summary If you tend to like deep, heavy scents that aren't too girly then I would certainly recommend this perfume. I really love the design of the bottle and this one certainly stands out among my other perfumes in my collection. One slight downside to this perfume is that because of the design of the bottle and where the colour of the bottle is so dark, you are unable to see how much perfume you have left although to be honest, you can roughly feel how much you have left when you pick up the bottle. An advantage to the unique design of the bottle is that the perfume is protected from sunlight which actually stops the perfume from going off, meaning that it will last longer.

Advantages: Unique - make this YOUR hallmark fragance Disadvantages: Too heavy for everyday use - not for the very young or very mature
...come from the stables of Yves Saint Laurent and just as Opium caused a stir in the mid Eighties and most recently due to an ad campaign featuring an odalisque Sophie Dahl - this is a fragrance you either will love or hate.
If you are drawn to deep dark heavy scents that are strong on incense and woods then this is a definate one to try. Packaged in a deep indigo perspex disc - the fragrance is modern yet has a base that can transport you to far ... ...its composition.
The top notes are peppery - floating away into incense and on to a deep base of musk and oakmoss. Not a cheap fragrance in terms of composition or price the range starts from approximately £37 for the Eau De Toilette. The bath and body range is magnificent and comprises of a deep inky black oap that leaves skin clean and subtly fraganced; a luxurious foaming shower gel; a silky body milk and the piece de la resistance is the body ...

Advantages: long lasting Disadvantages: acidic scent
I'm not sure if anyone else has been sprayed with this new perfume yet, but I was last Saturday in Lewis's. I had gone to the YSL counter to buy some Touche Eclat as a gift, and got squirted with this stuff as a consequence.
I was told by the sales woman that this was a new concept in perfume as it has a top note of black pepper. It certainly does and is definitely distinctive at first due to that. She also told me it was eau de parfum so should ... ...scent had matured on me and the black pepper smell had gone; what was left was a not very exciting scent that to me smelt chemical and acidic, definitely cool in nature. Sadly, I do get migraines and this scent started one off so I can't say it was a success for me.
The starting price for this perfume is £37 which is on the expensive side and apart from the initial top note of pepper, which is decidedly different and one of those things you either ...

I bought this perfume not knowing that it was for women (I am a man) and bought the body lotion form. I have to tell you that I've worn it to work and have never gotten so many compliments on any other scent. It comes across as a woody, very un-sweet peppercorn on my skin.
BEWARE, a dab of the body lotion is like pure parfum, do not use it as a moisturizer, use it very very sparingly. It is a persistent scent that relies on what I believe is the ... ...Most people can't smell it on themselves since the molecule blocks the vomeronasal receptor for a while when you smell it, so bottom line is you don't know how much you are wearing. The incense and peppercorn theme is irresistable for any gender, don't be insecure, give it a try. Or don't, and let me get all of the compliments. ...
