Paris comes in a salmon pink, gold, and black square box. Quite chunky, like the perfume. The bottle is dimpled, clear glass, quite squat and round, like a squashed ball. It has a black and pink chubby top to it. With Yves Saint Laurent written in gold lettering to the front of the bottle. There is nothing really feminine, or particularly attractive about the bottle, and the basic looking bottle belies the perfume inside. The bottle of Paris de toilette I have is a 75ml bottle, 2.5fl.oz. It has a black push down atomiser spray to the top. Paris is an incredibly strong fragrance. An intense depth of scent, therefore you really don't need to use too much when applying it. It doesn't fade easily, and after wearing, I can still smell it on my skin the next day. I would say it is a romantic perfume, quite sexy really, there is just something about the notes that makes me keep smelling my wrist when I am wearing it, and breathing it in. It is quite gorgeous.
Paris by Yves Saint Laurent was created in 1983. The perfume contains a blend of hyacinth, mimosa, rose, violet, lily of the valley, bergamot, geranium, hawthorn cedar, sandal, heliotrope, and amber.
The fragrance is beautiful, it is sweet, Yet musky, a very interesting mixture of notes. I can smell the violet and rose quite predominantly, then sandlewood, as a middle note lingering in the background along with the geranium. All these come through quite strongly.
It really is a stunning fragrance. I would say mainly suited to daytime wear. My Husband just came over to smell it, and he said "Erghhh that's horrible! Charming! ;-) It's not actually, it's very lovely. One thing about this scent it is incredibly strong and will last and last on the skin. You don't need to go heavy on the amount you use. It's a very expensive smell, and a pretty expensive perfume.
To sum it up I would say it the fragrance of the Paris eau de toilette is a very sexy one, without being too heavy,with a strong blend of rose, violet, sandlewood and geranium. 9/10 from me.
A 30ml bottle of the eau de toilette will cost from £19.50 @ http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/sbs/133501/10331620.html. Which is a very good price. Or alternatively Paris is available from most major chemists, larger branches of Boots, and of course from the net.

...Paris is the product of Yves Saint Laurent and comes in various sizes and packages. I can only speak of the Eau de Toilette Spray range which comes in 125, 75, 50 & 30ml bottles, and I believe there is also another smaller bottle although I’ve yet find it. The bottles are also attractively packaged. I generally purchase the 50ml bottle, which comes in at around £25, but this depends on where you buy it. The cheapest I’ve ever bought this ... ...in Debenhams at the weekend I noticed they now have their Christmas gift sets in. You can buy the Yves Saint Laurent Paris 3 Piece set for £38. The set contains: 2.5 oz Eau de Toilette Spray + 2.5 oz Perfumed Body Lotion + 2.5 oz Perfumed Shower Gel. ...

Advantages: Beautiful special scent Disadvantages: a bit expensive
When I got married last year, I wanted an established scent, not something that's here for a year or two and then you never see it again. I wanted to be able to go into a shop a few years later and buy it again.
I thought about all the perfumes I wore when I was younger and which ones would appeal to this special occasion.
I did think about Ck1 but then decided it wasn't the right sort of smell for a bride.
Years before my mother had always worn ... ...lovely and fresh and special, so I opted for that.
On the day, my Chief Bridesmaid took it upon herself to keep squirting me with the stuff, it was quite funny really, anything to relieve the stress and pressure, but I didn't want to to smell like a perfume counter.
I could smell the scent on me but was a little concerned that the bridesmaid had gone a little mad with it.
Anyway, I go to the alter and the first thing that my husband said was, ...

The Paris bottle is rounded and is multi faceted. It was designed like this so that each of the facets could catch the light and sparkle. It was intended to reflect ... ...bright pink as is the packaging and is somewhat reminiscent of a can can skirt.
Ingredients
A blend of Mimosa, Orange Flower, Rose, Moss, Sandalwood and Amber.
Aroma
Paris Is Classified As A Refined, Flowery Fragrance. I would agree with this description. It is flowerly and is refined.
Overall.
Recommendedfor evening wear. I do keep it for special occassion but not just for evening. It has a romantic and sensual feel.

One day at a store I tried a sample and thought it was ok and bought a bottle, then after a few hours of walking around I felt ill and had a headache and it was all down to the smell of "Paris".
The day after I returned it to the shop unopened and got a refund. It's the most sweetest and sickliest perfume I have ever smelt if anybody was ever to buy me it as a present I think I'd throw it back at them ha ha I'm only kidding I wouldn't be that wicked ... ...that person wasn't very close to me because I couldn't stomach the smell of it.
It really has a cheap smell about it and I can't stand when somebody walks past me and I get a whiff it's so noticeable that it's sickly "Paris" perfume Yukkkkkkkk !!!
Don't buy it for your Women guys cos you'll regret it !!!! and it's murder to get rid of the smell of it, as it sure has staying power. ...

I love perfume. I cant live without it. I cant get dressed after a bath and not wear perfume. Its like eating and breathing. I have tried almost all well known French favourites and I always come back to two perfumes which are so feminine and so sex. One is EL Beautiful and the other is Paris.
Paris has a scent which lasts longer than most and if you happen to get caught in the rain and get drenched when wearing Paris the scent is overpoweringly ... ...of hay and grass & wild flowers with a sexy gorgeous country boy with one thing on his mind - and yours - its is so overtly feminine I doubt any male could resist a woman wearing Paris and also dressed in very feminine clothes - it is not like some of the new perfumes which are masculine and uni sex- ( yukkk) its all woman, all lusting, all feminine, all sexy, all debauchery, all hot breathing heavy sensuality. Hmmmmmmm-
