Also compatible with the old standard as well so that you don't have to worry about immediately purchasing all new cards for all your PCs! Sound good on paper, but that's until you plug it in and find out what porkies Linksys has spewed out upon it's silver tray. ...When I recieved my laptop and bought my Linksys WRT54G Wireless Broadband Router, I needed to add wireless functionality to my laptop - that unfortunately wasn't powered by the Intel Centrino technology that has now been introduced. Seeing as I bought a Linksys router, I went ahead and bought a Linksys wireless adapter as well. The Packaging - The product is neatly packaged and very well protected in an anti-static pouch and is snuggled in it's plastic tray. All the documentation is packaged neatly and diagramatical setup instructions are printed on the back of the box. I found this quite handy when I wasn't bothered to read the instruction booklet. ...The Belkin Wireless Notebook Card is a good product. the card is only for LAPTOPS not for computers. the good thing about this product is that just say your in your bedroom or in your kitcen or maybe in your garden you can use the internet without any wires and no hassle at all. but you have to remember you need to have a belkin wireless internet network to make this product work for your laptop. I have my very own Belkin Wireless G Notebook card and it runs as fast as when i use to have an ethernet connection i.e. cable internet connection.
