Advantages: great card for it's price, excellent on board memory Disadvantages: lots of similar priced alternatives, even nvidia 9th series cards
The stereotypical view of a gaming pc is that of a ludicrously expensive, liquid nitrogen cooled, supercomputer that has a case that looks like something out of a sci-fi film. But these days computer components are getting cheaper and cheaper and more and more capable. And the 8800GT is no exception. One step better is this, the XFX model. XFX are well known for their releases of video cards running at higher clock speeds than the standard manufactured card, while still maintaining very competitive prices. This card is great for enthusiastic gamers, but those who aren't confident enough to start overclocking all on their own. Out of the box this card is ready-overclocked and set to really make the most of your system.
The XFX8800GT, can quite simply handle anything you throw at it, even the most demanding of games running ...
Product: Graphics Card
Make: NVIDIA, GeForce
Version: GTX 295
Price: Varied
The GeForce 295 GTX is the fastest graphic card to date, it holds 1,792MHz RAM of memory, and the resolution size is 2,560 x 1,600, now that is massive. This is an incredibly fast card; so you?re going to need a really big screen in order to get the most out of it, and its twin-GPU prowess. The GTX is powerful, hungry and exactly what you?d expect from a cutting-edge slice of computing, and believe me when I say this, it sure isn?t cheap. This pro-gaming kit needs specific hardware to really make it shine. The great thing I like about this, the performance takes over from the NVIDIA make. NVIDIA is a top brand, I always find it?s the fastest, and more reliable make, it also upgrades AMD?s successful 4870 X2 brand. Who ever processed this one ...
Advantages: Nice price, easy to install Disadvantages: unknown brand, not easy to get a hold of
reasonable but don't expect too much however if you have a fairly old pc 5 years+ then you'll find this a huge step up from GeForce 2's and Voodoo Cards and a trillion times better than an onboard graphics card which offers virtually no functionality whatsoever.
The installation is very easy , both hardware and software as you simply install the drivers after you've slotted the card into your graphics card slot. It is recommended to update the drivers every now and then to get the best performance but do be careful about compatibility issues though as it can sometimes conflict and cause your pc to become unstable.
Overall this is a deent card for a decent price. ...
