Bought a ZanussiZWF16070W1 from M&S. Installation engineer arrived in very bad mood and said "Zanussis are a nightmare to install" and then refused to install it. He said we would get the installation fee refunded from M&S but they later said we wouldn't.
Machine was reasonable for wash and spin but broke down after just 5 weeks. The drum stopped turning and it sounded like the motor was having a problem.
M&S say it is outside their 7 day period, so it's now under manufacturer warranty. They will arrange an engineer to visit (for which we have to take a day off work) and either repair it or condemn it for replacement (which will mean another day off work).
I would have expected a straight replacement for a machine that breaks down after just 5 weeks.
Overall very disappointing service and unsatisfactory reliability or durability.

Don't listen to M&S about the seven day period. The law says if an electrical item fails within six months then it is deemed to have been faulty when new. This 7 day, 21, day and 28 day periods retailers come up with is a load of nonsense and THEIR rules, not law. Demand a replacement or your money back and don't give up. You have started here by giving M&S bad press, there's other places and you should tell them that. For future, reviews should be more comprehensive on products you own or have tested. This way it gives us fair knowledge of the product to consider buying or not. Ciao isn't just a place to rant about a bad experience. Good luck with the machine.
