Advantages: Compact and Lots of Functions Disadvantages: Expensive
For the size of this washing machine I think it is great. It has all the fuctions you need - pre wash, quick wash, woolen wash, anti crease function, half load option, super rinse as well as a delay start button where you can delay the start of your washing for either 2,4 or 8 hours which is brilliant as we put the washing in at night before we go to bed on an 8 hour delay start and then it is finished by the morning when we wake up ready to hang ... ...not a good idea if you are a light sleeper as it has a noise of 53dB and its woken me up a couple of times in the night when turning on - but with the bedroom being next to the kitchen it probably doesn't help!
The reason we got this washing machine was due to its size, it is only 50cm wide, 67 cm high and 52 cm deep. We moved into a small flat and the space for the washer to fit into was tiny and we hunted everywhere for one that would fit. In ...

Advantages: Small Disadvantages: Has to be replaced every 18 months.
The machine worked well, if noisely since Jan 2008. However recently it started running noiseily. We don't use the machine an awful lot, and paid quite a bit of money for it. Now it stopped working altogether. I had an engineer out and its a complete right -off. I'm going to have to buy another machine. we've only done normal loads in the machine, and its completely broken after only 18 months. I've had loads of washing machines and I've never had ...

It's been over six months since I've been using the Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 16281. It is a free standing 1600 rpm washing machine in a white finish with dimensions of (H)85.0 x (W)60.0 x (D)60.0 cm. It seems a well constructed aappliance and I suppose by today's standards it was a reasonable price (Just over three hundred quid). It certainly washes clothes to my satisfaction and wash loads on the whole seem to take the same length of time as my parent's ZanussiZWC1300.
When buying electrical appliances these days I always take into account environmental and energy efficiency related issues and the ZWF16281 certainly meets my expectations in this department.
