For the size of this washing machine I think it is great. It has all the fuctions you need - pre wash, quick wash, woolen wash, anti crease function, half load option, super rinse as well as a delay start button where you can delay the start of your washing for either 2,4 or 8 hours which is brilliant as we put the washing in at night before we go to bed on an 8 hour delay start and then it is finished by the morning when we wake up ready to hang up to dry while we are at work. However probably not a good idea if you are a light sleeper as it has a noise of 53dB and its woken me up a couple of times in the night when turning on - but with the bedroom being next to the kitchen it probably doesn't help! The reason we got this washing machine was due to its size, it is only 50cm wide, 67 cm high and 52 cm deep. We moved into a small flat and the space for the washer to fit into was tiny and we hunted everywhere for one that would fit. In the end ofter loads of searching on the internet we found this one and bought it off ebay for £300. (in the shops it ranges from £400-£500 so we managed to save a little bit of money buying it second had, even though it looked like new when we collected it and was in a perfect working condition) Fitting the item was a little confusing as it didn't have a hot pipe (being a cold fill only washer) which having not read the instruction we thought that something was missing but we soon thought that perhaps we shouldn't have dived straight in and after reading them we got there in the end. However it was difficult to lift (weights 57kg) as not being the strongest of women there were a few moans and groans - so you could defiately do with a strong male around to help lift/push or pull into place. The drum, which is front loading, holds 3 kg of washing, which is about half the amount of your normal size washer, but for 2 people in a small flat it is ideal. The machine has a spin speed of up to 1300rpm and you can actually choose which speed you want from 5 different speeds. You have the choose of 300rpm,500rpm,700rpm,900rpm or 1300rpm and its really easy to change it as you just rotate a dial. The washer has energy Band A and on average uses 39 litres on a wash at 60c but I never wash anything above 40c anyway, so im guessing it will be less depending on what temperature you wash at. The only annoying thing was the price as even though this machine is twice as small as a stardard washing machine it seemed to be double in price which was really annoying, and it wasn't as if we could of bought any other one as there were no others on the market which would have fit the space we had to put it in. Its ideal if you don't have much washing and want to save room like us.
