I have only had this machine for a short period of time therefore have somewhat limited experience of it but can give first impressions which are extremely favourable
Washing machines, as with other appliances today are rated in accordance to their energy efficiency, increasingly important in these days of ever spiralling costs of electricity This particular model is rated A (wash) B (spin) which is very acceptable and of particular importance both financially in these times of ever increasing energy costs and also indirectly environmentally It is a free standing fully automatic machine of standard dimensions. Unlike my previous machine it is a cold fill only which means in use it does not drain your stored hot water The Zanussi12070W also has numerous different washing cycles covering the whole range of modern fabrics and wash temperatures can be varied from a cold wash temperature of right through to a hot 95 degrees plus quick cycle many of these individual temperature washes also have an eco setting using less water and energy. There are also other more specialised programmes. While every programme has its own set spin this can be varied to ones preference. The Zanussi 12070 also has a delayed start option of up to 9 hours which would be financially advantageous for those who run on off peak electricity tariff without having to wait up to start it. The machine itself is very easy to operate and comes with a clear instruction manual The machine in operation is quiet and efficient you just put everything in select the setting push a button and forget it. Although there it does not have drying facility the efficiency of the spin means this is not detrimental to its performance. Although I have only had it a relatively short time I have had no problems and am extremely pleased with it it has features often not even found in more expensive machines. In terms of value for money it is outstanding why pay more than needed I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of buying a new washing machine to strongly consider it they wont be disappointed.
