...Xi'an is the capital of the Shaanxi province and one of China's major cities (being the country's capital at one point). It's an old city which hasn't developed quite as quickly as many other major cities. There is plenty to do in Xi'an and you're unlikely to find a day with nothing to do. I have given a list of some of the major attractions, but there are many more to be found; just by exploring. City Wall Xi'an is one of the few cities in China to still have a complete city wall and is the most complete surviving city wall in China. The wall is 8.5 miles long and you can walk round the wall (taking roughly 2 hours) or for far more fun you can hire a bike (or Tandem) and cycle round. ...Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi 2528 This is the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi 2528. It is a laptop designed for entertainment purposes whilst still being very cheap in price. Fujitsu Siemens are well known for their cheap laptops, and are also quite well known for making basic laptops and therefore don?t really have the best reputation in the market. However that is all changing now, instead of sticking to the mold of cheap basic laptops, there branching out and are starting to make ultra portable laptops that compete with sonys, and dells whilst being a lot cheaper too. They are now also making entertainment laptops with great specifications and features that come in at just a fraction of the price of some of its competitors and the AMILO Xi 2528 is one of these. ...First and foremost forget the film, it is unable to capture the humour and intensity fully. This is one of my favourite books, containing just the right mix of intrigue and humour, whilst running along at a great pace . We start off meeting the major characters very quickly, and a battle of wits starts immediately, between commander Swanson and crew of a US nuclear submarine and Dr Carpenter, sent from London to join the Sub on a special mission to trace a missing ice station named Zebra. (needless to say this may not be the whole truth) ! Now the story begins with lies, subterfuge, lies, sabbotage, lies, murder, lies,one of my favourite lines comes from this book and if you read it, its the one about I almost believed it myself.
