Advantages: Cheaper than the No.16 Disadvantages: Lasts less than half the amount of time as the No.16
...Unfortunately, Lexmark cartridges are already quite expensive compared to some of the other makes. If you aren't prepared to pay much for your cartridges then the No.17 is the best choice for you. Unfortunately, the No.17 is only moderate yield so doesn't last for very long. Better value for money is the No.16 cartridge. It is the same shape and size as the No.17 and is compatible with exactly the same printers. The difference is that the No.16 lasts for more than double the amount of time than the No.17 does. The No.16 does cost more money to begin with (usually £5 more), but for the amount of time it lasts it's worth paying the extra few pounds.
Compatible Lexmark printers: i3, X74, X75, X1100 Series, X2200 Series, Z13, Z23, Z25, Z33, Z35, Z500 Series, Z600 Series.
Compatible Compaq Printers: IJ650 Series...

Advantages: Available at a wide range of outlets Disadvantages: Relatively expensive
...I have two Lexmark inkjet printers. One (Z605 model) is mine; the other (Z35) is on loan to me in connection with my degree course. Luckily, both printers use the same ink cartridges. These are:
Z16/Z17 - black
Z26/Z27 - colour
The same ink cartridges are compatible with a range of Lexmark inkjet printers, notably:
Lexmark Colour Jetprinters - Z13, Z23e, Z25, Z25L, Z33, Z34
Lexmark Colour Jetprinters - Z515, other Z600 series
Lexmark All-In-Ones - X72, X74, X75, X1100 series
**** So, what about buying the Z16 cartridges? ****
They come in a nice, neat little pack. The Z16 code is prominently displayed, as is a full list of the compatible Lexmark printers. So, no need to remember the cartridge code if you have committed your printer model to memory.
**** What do they cost? ****
An arm and a leg!! No seriously, Z16's...

Sony Vaio Z1RSP Review ofSony VAIO Z1RSP - Pentium M 1.7 GHz - 14.1" TFTby
lmellors
Advantages: Light, well designed and extremely stable Disadvantages: nothing
...The whole Zseries notebooks from Sony have been extremely positive. I used to be solely an IBM man when it came to laptops believing that they were the only tier one supplier. Dell was to unstable and deterioated in performance very quickly and compaq/hp notebooks never met the quality of their desktops and servers. Toshiba was perhaps the closest match but in recent years toshiba laptops have declined. When thye sony vaoi came out initially it was a more of a personal computing option and was loaded with fun sony software for multi media. However, the new Zseries and in particular the Z1RSP and Z1XMP are the best all round laptops to hit the market place. The are well designed and effective not to mention attractive and are probably the best performing laptop I have see. I sticking with this one. Only drawback is that it only...
