Zenith Windows

I initially had Zenith Staybrite out in Norfolk 2 and half years ago. We paid for garage doors, a back door with side panel and a garage window. The fitters arrived 3 weeks later and started work. When they had finished everything looked fine.
After a few weeks we had trouble shutting the garage door and the back door and I called for them to come out to check. The same fitters came out, spoke to me like it was my fault and said that they had fixed the problems. I had to call them out another 3 times to fix the same problems and every time they spoke to me like I was wasting their time. After 1 year had passed I noticed that my garage window had started to bow. I was very concerned about this as my dog and two young children used the exit next to the window on a daily basis. As I was concerned about a serious accident or death occurring I stopped using the exit and called Zenith Staybrite. They never returned my call so I contacted trading standards. Trading standards got back to me after 3 weeks and told me that although this is not their area, Zenith Staybrite were on their list of recommended service. Finally someone senior came out and checked the work. They admitted they were at fault and the window would be re-placed, they also found fault with the back door and garage door. When my window was fitted, the fitters had removed a supporting beam and this meant the new window was holding the weight of my garage roof. These problems were finally fixed, but to date have not received an apology or compensation. I would avoid this company at all costs. I have since found a small local company to do the additional work at my house and I have never had a problem with them. Zenith Staybrite are run by greedy individuals who are not in touch with the business at all. Hence the customer service is lacking and all the staff I have met have a 'can't be bothered' attitude.
