Well, I love Zildjian cymbals over any other, the relativley new Zildjian ZBT Cymbals are 'budget' cymbals made from Zildjian Bronze Techology, hence the name ZBT. Advantages: Good quality, good brand cymbals at a good price

...The ZBT range is Zildjian's attempt at making 'budget' cymbals. For your £150 you get a pack consisting of a set of 14" Hi-hats, a 16" Crash and a 20" Ride. The cymbals all have the Zildjian logo on them and have a nich shiny finish. There is one thing that I don't like about these cymbals though, and that is the crash. It has a sound that I can only describe as the sound you would get if you hit a metal dustbin lid. It is an extremley raw, jagged sound, which dies out quite slowly. This might be the sound you want if you play in a really heavy band, but if you are mainly using the cymbals for emphasis in quieter songs, it really doesn't work. However, the hi-hats and ride are quite good, in fact they are excellent when considering the cost. Thi hi-hats give a crisp sound when they are played shut, although do suffer slightly... ...Ok, if you've not read my reviews on other drum stuff then i'll explain what i do briefly. I've been playing the drums for around 19 years now and i'm still very active in the music industry.I presently play drums in a semi/professional (hoping to be proffessional)band.I have played in professional bands in the past and i've toured in the past too, so i feel i can give an honest opinion and maybe give a good idea of what people can get for their money. I've been using Zildjian cymbals now for around 2 years, i used paiste signitures before hand. Presently i'm using 2 Zildjian avedis rock crashes, one 16inch and one 18inch. Firstly i'll talk about looks and quality....Ok the Zildjian Avedis rock cymbal range are of high quality, they have a great look about them and are the choice of many rock drummers through out...
