How many times do you put your lighter down and forget about it? Or lend it to someone and it goes walkabout? Zippo have designed a perfectly shaped pouch so you can keep it safe and always on your person, whenever you need it. The pouch in the picture is black but the one I have is brown leather. The main reason I bought a pouch was to protect a Zippo lighter that I received for my 21st birthday, so it was pretty special. It was also pretty expensive as the Zippo was encrusted with swarovski crystals and was engraved at the back. By keeping the lighter in a pouch I would be able to protect the back from being scratched and protect the front also, I did not want to lose any of the crystals. Now I have stopped smoking and the lighter has been made redundant in its everyday usage, I still keep it in its pouch to protect it.

The pouch cost me $9.90 in the states, you can get them over here for roughly the same price in sterling.
The pouch is made from really thick leather. It accommodates a regular sized Zippo snugly but there is no room for anything else. After the first couple of uses, the leather softens as at first you really have to push the Zippo into the compartment. The top part of the pouch folds down with a press stud to keep it closed. Writting on the front is the Zippo logo. At the back of the pouch is a metal clip which slots straight over your belt so you can wear it if you want. It is quite a struggle to keep clipping it off and on, so once on it is probably advisable that if you want the lighter, you push the press stud and release it this way instead of battling with the whole thing. You can also attach things to the clip so you can have your keys attached to the pouch if you want.
The pouch is really good quality, the leather is really thick and it looks good when you wear it. A small point to note is that the inside of the pouch where the press stud is, is not covered up by any material. The back of the press stud can rub against the Zippo and scratch it. I have not experienced this and find the pouch really reliable, but metal against metal could result scuff marks.
