For those of you unlucky enough to have an allergy, you'll know just how annoying the symptoms you get can be. A runny nose, watery eyes, itchy skin, coming out in lumps and bumps, and sneezing are all part of our protective system within our body, trying to protect us from the things our body can't tolerate.
There are many kinds of alleriges and unfortunately for me I seem to have quite a few of them. I'm allergic to pet fur, dust mites, cut grass, aerosols and any kind of spray. Now as an animal lover this has become an extremely annoying occurance in my life. Some people do everything they can to avoid what they are allergic to but for me sometimes it's not always possible. So what is one to do when having an allergic reaction can't be avoided? Answer: Allergy Tablets!

. One thing I quickly discovered was that our windows were highly subject to condensation in the winter months. As a result, a nice layer of white mould had infested the window frames. I highly suspected that it had to do partially with the difference of temperatures on the inside and the outside of the house ? and also with the damp laundry dispersed throughout the house (which takes about 3 days to dry in the winter months). So when I described the situation to my GP, she added another possible factor to the list ? a mould and house dust allergy. In addition to the prescriptions for antibiotics and an inhaler, she suggested I try out an over-the-counter allergy relief product and scribbled the word ?Zirtek? on a piece of paper.
I am the kind of person who likes to take as little medicine as possible, so I decided to ignore the inhaler ...

A: It doesn’t taste overly nice but then do you know of any tablets that do?
Q: Oh crikey! I have this thing about taking tablets, I just panic and start gagging.
A: I used to be like that until I had no choice but to take a course of huge anti-biotic pills, but even before I got over my phobia I could manage to take these.
