The Belkin N+ router is one of the higher end (consumer) wirelessmodem router offerings from Belkin. It cost me £85 from PC World, but can probably be found for a bit less if you shop online. The Cable version costs a little less. Reason I bought this one was because two PCs in the house with wireless cards kept losing the wireless connection when I was using a Linksys router (my own PCs / laptops were fine though!). I replaced that with a second hand Belkin, which worked fine but unfortunately, a power cut killed the wireless on it. Look around for a while and found this. Bought this recently to start on broadband wanted a wireless system that was easy to use. As I am new to computers found this easy to set up no wire around the house, only need to plug into my telephone line. The modem is small and compact however I feel you need to have someplace safe to store modem as attennae looks fragile. Phoned help line to ensure that I was doing the right thing in the set up they were very helpful. Transfer time fast and downloading fast. I would recommend this product to anyone and I feel that the price is right for the product too.You need to pay accessories to link with your computer. ...
Advantages: Light weight, familiar layout, no cluttering wires Disadvantages: Complains of low battery life far too early
The 360 wireless controller is, in all ways, a very good little package to own for the avid gamer. Even a week into owning it I was still putting it down in that complicated way we have with wired controllers, trying to avoid the wires dangling into anything.
I was even bemused to find that the controller will work when not even on the same floor as the Xbox!
The only let down is in the controller\'s approach to battery life. It seems to think that batteries at half capacity are close to death, and will constantly flash the light-ring at you to let you know (wasting even more energy), and sporadically turning itself off (it does seem to get the message after you turn it back on a few times, however).
I think that if not for this huge letdown, which is incredibly irritating in the middle of a game, the controller would be simply ...
