The Zoom 1201 is a great multi-effects unit. The effects are mostly extremely high quality, and the editability is just enough that you can pretty much achieve any effect you require. The stereo mixes in bank C are meant so that you can treat the Zoom as two units, and send the different stereo outputs to different effects returns, so all in all the 1201 is very flexible and great value at under £100.
Pretty much the only ... ...this would kill another bird with one stone - very helpful for budget studio owners.
I would recommend this unit to pretty much everyone, because it can be used for such a variety of applications. I frequently use it added in my guitar effects chain to make use of the interesting effects I otherwise don't have (check out the ring modulator!). ...
