As in street fighter, the aim of this game was to choose a fighter, defeat all comers in a tournament and then go on to fight the end boss, like SF each character had their own distinctive look, style of fighting, levels of damage, reach and special moves. Each one also had their own fatality which was a new edition to fighting games whereby after the beating of an opponent, the player had a few extra seconds while unconcious to inflict a disturbing finishing move which varied from ripping someones head off to electrifying them to death.

boring. Also as with most sims, this was a one player only so your pals couldnt get involved, graphic however were good for its time. Bright and colourful
But its a really good game and although i dont have my megadrive anymore, its available on most formats and a newer, updated version too where you can actually go on the rides to test them out! Theme Hospital is also worth a look if you like this which was the sequel and another fun management construction sim. Enjoy and live the dream! ...

The fact that Flashback has been almost completely forgotten in recent years simply astonishes me. For a game so groundbreaking and to have set so many new standards, it is comparable to the likes of Doom, Final Fantasy VII and Grand Theft Auto 3, and will they be forgotten less than a decade after original release? No chance.
