ISDN LAN to LAN Router Prestige 100IH is equipped for IP protocol routing via ISDN for Wide Area Networking and Stac Data Compression to maximize 128Kbps bandwidth efficiency. Dial-on-Demand automatically makes connection when there is data to be transferred, thereby minimizing connection charges and user intervention. ZyXEL's Single User Account feature enables multiple users on a Small/Medium Business (SMB) LAN to access the Internet for the cost of an individual IP account. The Prestige 100IH provides two remote access connections at 64Kbps each, or one PPP/MP bundled connection at 128Kbps. Password checking and/or auto call-back may be used to authenticate remote connections. The Prestige's two analog ports allow users to share the ISDN connection with fax machines, modems and other analog devices.
...Wireless Settings.
The Router is compatible with ADSL speeds right through to ADSL2+ so it is a great modem if you can only get ADSL now but your ISP is planning to roll out ADSL2 or 2+ soon.
The greatest thing about this router is the Wired and Wireless option. The ethernet hub on the rear of the router allows for up to 4 PC's to be connected at 100Mbps, and the Wireless allows for multiple (lots) of wireless connections of speeds up to 54Mbps. The modem is compatible with Wireless protocols 802.11b (11Mbps) and 802.11g (54Mbps)

These security features are essential. Making the Security features even stronger is the potential to filter by MAC address (Basically you...

Advantages: its white, which is nice, if you have macs everywhere. Disadvantages: adsl unreliable, debvice unreliable, firmware faulty.
...i bought one of these and the first thing i noticed was that the router fails the window connectivity test (upnp section). it would also drop out the adsl connection for no apparent reason wheras my netgear dg834g would never do.
i then tried a firmware update and this made no difference. the upnp just stops working completely after around 5-10 mins of operation and does not return unless you reboot the router.
later the whole router started resetting randomly. i returned it and got a replacement, and had the exact same experience again.
i never got to try the homeplug av part of it. i was attracted by the £50 price tag on pc worlds website, lets just say you cannot get a 54g adsl router and homeplug for £50, coz these things are very poor indeed.
the 2 worst routers i have ever used have both been Zyxel.
why is upnp...
