Having grown in recent years in to a huge international company, Abercrombie & Fitch can be found being worn in all corners of the globe, but with this progress comes pressure on maintaning high standards, and this is something they are managing to do. The Website, Abercrombie.com, is typically stylish with a layout that completely suits the company and its image, clothes for the beautiful people
Now I would not consider myself a beautiful person, but I am a big fan of the clothes on offer. Since I first discovered Abercrombie clothing in New York on holiday in 1998 I have noticed a few things, huge growth, including a store in in my hometown of London, price increase, inevitable I suppose with increased popularity, and also an improvement in the clothing itself. I was instantly a fan of the brand and its array of youthful and stylish garments, and over the years I have continued to be impressed by the new designs and styles. Certainly Abercrombie is not for everyone, if you are disturbed by large pictures of slim girls and muscular men wearng very little the stores and websites are places to avoid, but it is hard to argue with the quality of the clothes they make.
I have always attempted to be ahead of fashion, with mixed success, but Abercrombie & Fitch hasn't lost it's touch as it's success has grown. Designers such as Von Dutch have arrived, peaked and quickly faded again, but Abercrombie has slowly built it's reputation, and continues to do so. I am not too against paying the inflated prices as the clothes last for a very long period of time, and would reccomens shopping on the website as it is simple, safe, and calmer than heading to an Abercrombie store which are consistently reminiscent of nightclubs these days. If you are looking for well designed clothes, often tight so be careful not to order too small, this is certainly a website and designer I would reccomend.
