Ok so I might be a mug, but any way I can make a bit of extra cash has to be worth a try in my book, particularly during my period of unemployment (especially as my Dad pays for the internet).

This is a new Pay to click site, similar to archerfish, only this is US based and the amounts are easier to understand, no fiddly little 1/4 or 1/2 pennys or cents here! You will recieve 1c for clicking on the ad and leaving it open for 30 seconds.

Registration requires you to give them your email address, a password, paypal address for payouts, and your country this is to check that you are in a country which paypal can be used in.

The site is all in the greenish grey colours shown above and is very simple to navigate, once you have registered you have a tool bar with Surf Ads, My Stats, Logout, How, FAQ, Advertise, and Contact

If youy click on surf the list of avaliable ads is shown, they are catagorised as Arts and Entertainment, Business and Money, Computers and Internet, Health and Recreation, Reference and Education and finally Shopping and Spending. But lets face it if you have gone this far you dont want specific sites just to make some cash!

Currently the site has 10 ads on it. But they do say that there are usually between 10 and 20 ads per day but some are only avaliable for 100 clicks others for 1000 clicks so some will become inactive quicker than others, also the ads aren't all loaded at the same time each day, for example today I have logged in twice, the first time there were no new ads, but when I logged back in there were two more and the third was added while I have been writing this.
The ads are valibe for the number of clicks not a length of time so if say a 100 click ad has not had 1000 clicks over a 24 hour period it will remain on the site and become active again for you to click again 24 hours after you originally clicked it.
After you click the ad it will not disappear from the list instead a maroon line will appear through it so you know it is still active, beside the ad link is a counter which shows how many clicks the ad has recieved, most have high numbers so are presumably the longterm adverts which become avaliable to click on a regular basis. Others have much fewer clicks.

The next section is my Stats, this is exactly what it says it is, the main part of the page shows how many ads you have clicked and then below how much is in your account eg 10 clicks is 10c, also you are shown your referral stats number of referrals and how many visits they have made to websites.
In this section is also My history, this is a history of your cashouts.
My profile, the details you used to register.
Buy referrals. Currently this is not avaliable so I will return and explain it when it is avaliable.
and Upgrade. An upgrade is currently not avaliabe but they state that their tech guy is working on it and give a cost ($29) and list of benefits which will include 50%more per click and for ever referral click, commission if you refer advertisers, $5 if you're referrals upgrade and $9 if your referrals buy referrals. Currently the upgrade is on offer at $20 but as it is'nt currently live I would be wary of purchasing it.

How
This section simply explains how adbux works, and is written in clear and easy to understand language.

FAQ
As with all the pay to click sites the FAQ is important, luckily this is a very comperhensive list of things you might want to ask and due to them not using a system of cash and points which is common on other sites and I have never seen properly explained mean that there are very few questions this section does not leave unanswered, it also has a section for advertisers which explains how it works and is reassuring for the member as it is clear that the site is making the money it says it will so is more likely to pay out (after all a site claiming say $2 for 2000 clicks with a payout to you of 1c cannot work).

The Advertise section I am not going to cover as I am highly unlikely to use it, and therefore I can't give a fair opinion of it.

Contact is a typical webform which allows you to contact the websites managers, they say that any query maytake up to 48 hours to be responded to, which seems resonable to me. So far I have had no need to use this so again I can't really comment on its efficiency.

So back to the important stuff, the ads you click open in a new browser window, there is a toolbar at the top in the adbux colours with a timer, once the timer has counted down to 0 it will show a dollar sign and a tick, if for some reason you wont recieve the money there will be a red cross shown on the bar, usually this is because you treid to open more than one ad at once. The minimum payout is at $5 and is by paypal only, but if you assume that you can earn on average 10c a day this mounts up at a reasonable rate and you also earn 100% of what your referrals make, so thats another 1c every time they click an ad. Again much better than most of these sites, but because of this there is only one referral level, so you only earn from your direct referrals. But they do say on the FAQ's that they plan to offer other payout options at some point.

Another important link is the Privacy link, this tells you that they will not share your information with any third party, but take no responsibility for any data you give to a third party you clicked on through the site. Once again other sites I have used don't have this information made clear and easy to access. Alongside this link is one to their TOS (Terms of Service) as with the FAQ's and How section they are clearly written with no gobbledegook - something other sites should take in to account.

As far as how good they are at paying out I am still not sure as I havent reached the payout threshold but in less than a weeks membership this account is almost at the same level as my archerfish account (obviously though this is valued in dollars not pounds so is worth less but it does mean I should reach the payout threshold much sooner).

Overall I would rate this site fairly highly on what I have already experienced, they make the process alot simpler than many sites where you have to remember which ads you have already clicked or have confusing combinations of points and cash for your clicks, or different menus to select to find the ads you need to click on to earn your small cash amounts. Still this will not make you rich and is only really worth doing if you have the time and can be bothered to click, so at the moment I am clicking religiously but when I get myself employed it is likely that I will visit less so am less likely to earn anything from this type of site. But of course its free to join and as long as you are certain you dont want to get rich from it its worth giving it a try.

If you want to please feel free to ask for my referrer ID, as if you join without one you will become part of the bundle of unreferred users sold to other members to increase their referral earnings.

Editted to add that they have recently changed the cashout threshold to $10, while this means that you will get larger amounts after it has been converted to £ in your paypal account it also makes it much harder to reach the cashout level, after using this for the last month or so I have $3 so to reach the $10 threshold I will either need to gain referrals or continue using this for another 3 months at the same rate.

But they have also made some changes to the site, only minor ones as they now have an ad counter on the ads page which tells you the current ad count and the number of new ads today. It generally seems accurate although sometimes the ads on the page dont seem to have been counted (ie there are 10 ads but the counter says its only 8) but this is a minor issue and the site is as easy to use as it was previously.

It actualy works!!! AMAZING.

Advantages: It does pay off after a while
Disadvantages: The length of time it takes to pay off

At a first glance of this site I must admit I was not all that impressed because you know what comes with these pay per click sites. It takes up loads of your time and for not much reward at all. The thing is with this site is something just sort of told me to stick with it and I have.I'm glad I did to. Its only a measly $0.0001 cents per click but when you start referring people is when it starts making you money. Normally get referrals to sites ...
...did it by posting it all over my MySpace page and before I knew it friends and friends of friends where joining through my url link. This site alone is making me an average of about $35 a month. Its worth it if you stick with it because when you refer someone you get 10% of their earnings for life! The site at first glance is pretty ugly but do not let that put you off!! The site is easily laid out and very simple to navigate around. It comes in ... Read review

Adbux - use it to top up your earnings
Review of adbux.org by mkkreuk

Advantages: Actually does work, not too much hard work
Disadvantages: Can be slow at first. Earnings are in dollars.

Adbux is a site which allows you to make money simply by clicking ads. I've always been taught that if something sounds too good to be true then it probably is. However, I’ve signed up as it cost me now money and it does seem to be true. I've already made $60 (~ £30)! Adbux admit that you cannot use their site as a way of sustainable income but it is a site that can be use to top up your earnings. $20 every 10 days or so cannot hurt can it? THE ...
...register for free. Then you click on ads and leave it open for 30 seconds. Once you do this you will receive 1 cent. There are usually about 6-10 adverts per day. Sometimes there is less, sometimes more. However, the way to make money is by referring people. If you refer a person, every time they click you earn one cent. You can also purchase referrals but so far I do not think the opportunity cost is worth it. The site itself is very simple, not ... Read review

General info about adbux
Review of adbux.org by moro_amy26

Advantages: paying and legitimate site
Disadvantages: none so far ...

I joined lots of paid to do this and that sites, and Adbux is one of them. So far so good. Better than clixsense.com. Why? Because it gives more clickable ads to international users. My first set of ads are more than ten. Unlike clixsense and hits4pay, I usually get one or two, and sometimes none. (sniff). Well, for the over-all/general info about the site: Type: Paid to click ads Earnings per click: $0.01 Minimum Payout: $5 NOW $10, payable thru ...
...using your credits (I bought two referrals for my zotspot account. I am very happy when I saw it). You can also advertise here. Owner: Chad French Other Pros: 1. You can choose other interest, you are not stacked with your chosen interest forever. 2. Advertisers will pay YOU up to $0.015 (1.5 cents) for every website you view! Additionally, you can maximize your earnings with their affiliate program where you can earn up to 150% of your referrals' ... Read review

Advantages: Serious, earnings.
Disadvantages: It takes 5 minutes a day

First af all, hello to everyone. i'm new of this site but not of this kind of sites. i signed up to ciao.it a couple of years ago. i have to say that i appreciate much more this community than italian one. this place sounds more serious and helpful. ok,now we are ready to talk about this new site i found around the net not many weeks ago. the formula/format of the adbux it's the classic one,it changes about time of payment. they are much more faster ...
...payout is 10 dollars (bucks), I guess you know that... :)... The design of the homepage and of the member's pages is not much attracting but this doesn't take off anything to the usefullness of the program. At the beginning it paied 25 cents of dollar to click on 20 advertises a day. To get the cents you have to keep the pages opened for 30 seconds at least. At the moment it pays a little less because there are just 13 advertises a day. I am ... Read review
