Created by E-Space in London, anorak.co.uk is an online e-zine which is published every day since 1995. Although it states that anorak is 'keeping tabs on the tabloids', it also covers all the top stories in be broadsheets as well as the tabloids like The Guardian and The Times. Under each news article is a link, which will take to to that particular story and the website of the newspaper covering the story. You can also email the story to a friend, or write to the editor.

The website is updated daily by 11am, and on the homepage, there is the top 3 stories from the tabloids, and 3 from the broadsheets. Along with other stories to read.

Each day there is a 'strange but true' story. Some so strange, it's had to believe they're actually true!! There is also a caption competition, and letters to the editor.

Under 'Other Stuff', view the anorak press, news links, about anorak, link to them and get anorak headlines on your website.

'Anatomy of a star' is where you are given a section of a star's face, and you have to guess whom the star is. You can see who it is by clicking on the face in question.

There is a readers' poll, search for stories, and get their newsletters in your inbox. There's also a news quiz and readers' letters. Also, read the latest news on Coronation Street and Eastenders.

It's an informative website, full to the brim with all the top stories. I'm not overly keen on the tabloids, and prefer reading newspapers which give their readers 'proper' news, but all the same, it's an entertaining website, with a lot to see and do. And, this website is more so for the tabloids than the broadsheets, anyway. It could take you a good while wandering round here, clicking on all the links. Plus, you can visit the newspapers' own website just by clicking on the link
