I've only ever visited one Apollo Cinema but my family and I much prefer it to other chains such as UCI or Odeon. The one we go to is comfortable, inviting and doesn't need a mortgage taking out if you are taking the whole family who want drinks, popcorn and nachos to help them enjoy the film. Their e-mail service is to the point and far easier to read than the one I get from UCI, if I need more info on a film the hyperlinks always work and it loads ... ...find the website easy to navigate - the only gripe I have with it is that I cannot book online - but then I object to online booking fees anyway. It would be more helpful to be able to check availability just prior to leaving.
All in all the website is easy to navigate and gives you the info you need to make a quick decision and I would definitely recommend the e-mail option. ...

Advantages: Cheap, usually good selection of movies Disadvantages: Horrid cinema's
Apollo cinemas are a cheap alternative to the pleasurable watching of Showcase or even Cineworld, Apollo cinemas are rubbish just like Apollo rentals and Apollo mountain bikes.
At Apollo cinemas sure the films are very very cheap and the cinemas very big, but the screen is usually infested with no less than spit balls and the seats, a lot of the time are chewing gum ridden or wet.
The floors are certainly not something to be desired and if the ... ...that.
I think Apollo cinemas should stop concentrating on their websites and concentrate on their cinemas instead.
I know it maybe expensive to maintain a cinema but im sure they can hire better cleaners or even cleaning chemicals to get rid of the chewing gum etc and if they don’t have the money why don’t they raise ticket prices? They still manage to beat most other cinemas now, let alone if they raised the prices by 50p or something similar.
