Looking for a high-powered micro hi-fi, I searched literally dozens of websites and came across appliance-direct.co.uk. They were offering the model I wanted £30 cheaper than I'd seen it anywhere else, and delivery was free.
I placed my order on Sunday night and received an e-mail confirmation within minutes. The following morning, a customer representative phoned me to say it was currently out of stock but was expected in a few days, so did I still want it? I said yes, and received another call the following morning saying that it had arrived and would be with me in 24 hours. Almost exactly 24 hours later there was a knock on my door and a man with a big box handed over my hi-fi in pristine condition.That's what I call service!
appliance-direct.co.uk sell a full range of electrical goods from sound and vision to refrigeration to smaller 'personal care' type products. Prices on everything are very reasonable, and delivery is free in mainland UK.The site loads quickly, is easy to navigate and search and has a very 'friendly' feel about it. Purchasing is simple and secure, and your transaction is always followed up by a telephone call confirming all your details and telling you the status of your order. They promise that if your goods are in stock (and they promise that most always are), you will have your product in 2 days.
I will be needing a new portable TV soon and a search on the price comparison site kelkoo has shown appliance-direct to be the cheapest for the model I want, so I will certainly be using them again.They stock all the big names like sony, bosch, electrolux etc. etc.
I highly recommend this excellent site for its quality and range of goods, its personal customer service, its ease of use and superb delivery.
