. What is it?: Archerfish.co.uk is a website that offers companies the chance to market themselves to consumers by online adverising. The way this advertising is done, is by the way of pay-per-clicks. Thus, consumers click on an advertising banner or link that sends them to a website that must be kept open for a certain amount of time, usually about 10 seconds, so if even the message within isn't 'heard', at least the company name should be remembered. The benefit for the clicker/consumer is that they get paid for each advert they click. Consumers can also be sent emails, in which they also get paid to read and click.
What's in it for me?: Well, in my opinion...sod all really...well no, that's not true, you could probably make as much as...wait for it...ONE PENNY A DAY (I heard you gasp in horror). That doesn't sound much, and you're right it isn't, but get this: an individual advert will pay out a whole 5th of a penny to click on it! Some adverts have even been known to offer as much as half a penny...but they're rare (anymore and the bank would break, clearly).
There must be more...SURELY?: Well, when I signed up, they gave me 25p as a welcome, so after the first week, I had about 35p or so in my account, and it felt a bit hard done by. But if I didn't have that 25p sign up bonus, my 'earnings' would have looked even poorer, if that's possible! If you want to earn more, you can sign up to offers, that pay out 15p if you can prove you signed up (by copying and pasting Archerfish confirmation emails). I haven't actually done this yet, but feel that I should...I'll explain exactly why later... They also have a 'gambling' section, where you can use the money you've earned to play games and such, to earn more, but I've never tried it, I'm not that stupid. Oh and they also offer mini competitons, for example: 'Every 50 clicks, one winner will receive a small prize (1p cash), in addition to the amount earned from clicking on each ad. Go for it!' ...OMIGOD ONE WHOLE PENNY...lucky us! Don't go for it, go to the pub!
What do I think?: I think it is a complete waste of bloody time, I've been with them 2 months and have just gone over the 75p mark (woohoo, lets pop the champagne). The pay threshold is what got my interest pricked, it's very low, at a 3GBP pay out. But that will take you a long time to earn if you just do the pay-per-clicks. I can't wait to get to 3quid then I can leave this ridiculous website (so fear I may have to do some 15p sign up ads). Obviously I could leave now, but the complete-ist and perfectionist in me, wants to make it all the way to a payout! The only problem is, payment is via paypal (at the 3GBP amount, at 5GBP I think they pay into your bank if you wish), so I would have to earn about 3.30GBP to get 3GBP into my paypal account (paypal take a percentage of what you pay into your account, incase you didn't know). This site is so soul-destroying and boring, for the fact that there are only a limited number of clicks available each day. If the list of available clicks was endless, then it wouldn't be too bad...but tedium doesn't even come close to the state you will get in, on this site. It annoys me when people say "Archerfish is great, they pay you click, wow, it's great" BECAUSE IT ISN'T, there are far better ways to earn pay per click...I can get up to 18p per day on other sites like 'Greasypalm' by clicking AND THAT'S IN 4 CLICKS!! (By the way if anyone wants my referral link for GreasyPalm, I would be more than happy to give it...wink wink). Archerfish is mindlessly dull dull dull...
Does it get worse?...How about the look of the site: Well now we're talking about dull...you should see the website itself. It looks like a 10 year old has just made it in a ICT class (actually that's probably not true, a 10 year old could do MUCH better). It's predominantly white and basic to say the least. The logo is kind of cute, but still looks like a child has just knocked it together. Unimpressive. It's relatively easy to navigate, but the problem is, there's nothing about it that makes me WANT to navigate, it's so dull mcdull!
Can I advertise there?: Well, yes you can, as far as I can make out, anyone can. And it seems quite cheap to do so to. Although why you would want to, I'm not sure. The cynic in me asks if a pay-per-click marketing solution, is really a clever way to reach consumers. All the clicker wants is the pennies surely, not to gain greater brand awareness.!?
Conclusion: I just don't 'get' this website and I can't believe people visit it everyday to get 1p. I probably use it once a week, if that, or if I'm on Skype, it's very easy to keep chatting to someone conherently, whilst mindlessly clicking at the same time. The only good thing to come out of it for me, is that I found a banner there for a company that pay REALLY well for surveys, so Archerfish have been good for something at least. I've given this site 2 stars, as although I think dog's have left more generous things up a lamp post, at the end of the day, they do pay out money, and as the economy in the state it is, every little helps...and that sort of 'easy' earning it like a little blessing for some people (I don't want to sound ungrateful) but there are much, much, MUCH better websites to be spending time on to make a little bit of money.
If you want my referral link, I will happily give it, although I make no secret of telling you IT WILL TAKE YOU WEEKS before you can even make enough to buy yourself a coffee. (I would much rather give out my GreasyPalm referral link, hehehe, shameless of me to mention I know, but it's so much better!)
Advantages: Don't have to wait months to get the amount for vouchers etc Disadvantages: You can't retire on this one
***Background***
I'm a sucker for sites which offer me money back offers and I've been a member of quite a few of them for a long time now. This one is a more recent find but it seems to give a reasonable bit back for very little work.
Unlike a lot of these sites, that you have to do daily searches for or make purchases from certain companies to get money, this one is mainly done through clicking emails sent to you. Now I know this isn't exactly ... ...However, this one really does seem to get the money into your account.
***Signing Up***
This is very easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. Giving the basic information means you can easily get access to the site and start clicking your way to some money in the bank. It costs nothing to do although there is the opportunity to upgrade to Gold Membership, which I'll go into more about later. Ticking all the boxes of interest will make sure ...

Advantages: Incentives, free, easy money, lots of paid email. Disadvantages: None I can think of
At last I have found a paid email site that is dedicated to England and Ireland. Most email sites are aimed at America and therefore include offers solely for American's. This is a pure bred English site. So what is it and how do I join?
Well firstly you need to know what paid email is. Paid email is a way of earning money that is simple and easy. It's basically what it says they either send you email or you log in to the site or both and click ... ...to wait usually between 30 seconds and 60 seconds depending on how much the email is worth. Then you get credited into your account. Paid email is a very slow way to make money, but because it's so easy and simple it doesn't matter. One of the best ways of making money via paid email is by getting people to join under you and building people under you. The more people you have under you the more money you make.
So to sign up for a paid email account ...

Advantages: quick to do each day , they pay out at £3 Disadvantages: takes a while to earn but they do pay up
I joined Archerfish around November of 2006.
It stated on the site I found the link on ,'GET PAID TO READ EMAILS' ,the emails would be daily and it was a UK site
(I had belonged to a US site for 2 1/2 years and only ever made £4 out of the £10 minimum redemption)
and so in actual fact had answered masses of emails for free for all that time because they had paid out only 5p an email and I had only received about 2 a month.

Advantages: Paid to Click, quick and easy Disadvantages: Slow income rate
With the way the world is going at the moment, I think everyone is trying to cut back and save a few pennies, my boyfriend and I have been saving up for a while for a house deposit, which is slowly rising, any miles or pennies or points I am getting from these sites is going straight into my savings.
With this as motivation, I've been trying a few new sites for getting those all important pennies. Every little helps!

Archerfish.co.uk is a UK based website which allows you to earn a few pennies by clicking on adverts. Signing up to archerfish.co.uk is free and takes just a moment or two, you will be asked for some basic information including your name & e-mail address and will be asked to create a username and password for logging in. Once you log in you can look at a couple of different areas. Then you will see the sections that most people are really interested in, paid to click & paid to sign-up. These are quite self explanatory really. You are paid on average ...
