I'm not renowned for my culinary talents, it's all a bit too technical for me but I was challenged to make a trifle. After the initial panic, ... ...~ Price ~
These are a great bargain, only 50p from Asda.
I'm often wary of things that are so cheap as I wonder if they will do the job as well as the more expensive branded items but these did.
~ Packaging ~
Bog standard box, inside of which are 8 rectangular sponges, which are cellophane wrapped in 4s which is great if you only need 4 as it keeps the others fresh.
~ What are they like? ~
Each slice is approx 8cm by 5cm and about 2cm thick.
