First off when you put the web address in to your browser, it comes up with a quite plain and simple page with Jeeves pictured leaning against the side the of the page. In the middle of the page is a bar, in which you put in the item you wish to search for. Initially, I thought that this only had to be a question - but oh how so wrong I was, as it is in fact a general search engine. Therefore, you can search for anything without even having to ask a question!
Once you put in the first letter (or number) of your chosen search subject, the predictive text comes on. A drop down menu appears, that tries to quess what it is that you are looking for as you type away. However, sometimes what you want can't always be found in this menu - but chances are, this site will still find it for you.
The site is extremely fastin finding results for you, and lists them in the usual way that any other decent search engine would do. In some cases, it may even give you similar subjects to look for aswell - something that I haven't always found on a lot of search engines. I would say that there are no features on this site, but I guess that this would actually in fact be one.
In my own opinion, this site is not the best of all sites but it is still a pretty good one to use should you not be able to get anywhere else. As already noted, it may not find you exactly what it is that you are looking for but it may still find you something similar by way of pointing you in the right direction.
My only gripe would be that the title is a little misleading, as they should be done under the Trade Descriptions Act. By this I mean what I have already talked about, inasmuch as you don't only have to ask things for results to come through - you can search, just like you do on Google etc.
Advantages: easy to use, more features than other search engines Disadvantages: not as good as google
ask.com is another one of the many search engines that let you search for data all over the net quickly and easily. However since its recent update it has got some neat features that give it an edge over even google in some departments.
For a start unlike google and yahoo when you search for something it automatically searches images, videos, news and so forth unlike google where you have to change the section at the top. This is a very nice feature ... ...easily search for say football and then get all the images, news topics and a list of webpages linked to foootball on one page, this could save time and money if you are running a business.
But it has to come back to the same disadvantage that all search engines except google of course have, they just cant compete with the accuracey and detail of a google search, something that is the most important thing when you use a search engine. Yes the other ...

Advantages: It is an excellant service, especially for children and teenagers, but also very easy to use. Disadvantages: Questions are not always answered as we may expect so have to be re-formatted. However as a search engine it performs very well.
Ask Jeeves is a very easy to use piece of online kit. The service is very easy to use, and their is an alternative 'kids' option for younger children. The only downside to the service is that your question is not always answered. At the end of the day, the service can only show you some sites which may help you, but their Tv Adverts have in the past been rather different. For example Jeeves is not a simple Q and A place but just a search engine. ... ...good. Don't just not use a service, but find out. I really use this service for lots of stuff including finding information for coursework.
The service is excellant, but I think it is fair to say your question is not always answered correctly. By this, I mean that the search is done on keywords, not looking at a question in context. ...

Advantages: Lots of address still free Disadvantages: Security, Design
I thought I would try Jeeves Mail as it was quite new & I thought that I might be able to get a good e-mail address through them. Signing up was quite easy, you just give them the usual information. It was when I tried signing in to my account for the first time that I had trouble. Windows kept giving me a message telling me that I was about to enter an unsecure site. This isn't very good considering some of the personal e-mails that I get sent, ... ...passwords for other sites.
The layout of the site was quite good, not that easy to navigate as it was quite hard to get back to your inbox from other folders. I think that the problem with Jeeves Mail is that they aren't really experienced in this field & should stick to what they originally planned to do with Jeeves... use him as a search engine.
I do not recommend using this site, you are better off using hotmail & having a stupid e-mail address. ...
