Advantages: Answers to near enough everything!! Disadvantages: Some people dont rate your answers.
This has to be one of my favourite sites ever! If you're looking for a website where you simply ask a question, then hopefully recieve an answer, WITHOUT having to pay for the pleasure, then - you've come to the right place (well if you go to www.askme.com you have, but you know what I mean!)

Or you can simply go straight to the question board (unless you specifically wanted an answer to do with quantum phenomena's or relativity, in which case you can, if you wish, go to their specific category.)
In addition to being able to ask questions you can also answer peoples questions (to do this you have to register yourself as an "expert") (by the way the sign up/registration is all free too). Once you're an "expert" you can answer any ones question in that field (hence you have to sign up as an expert in every catagory there is a question you can answer). I'm now an expert in physics, chemistry, biology, astrophysics and quantum physics! (i'm hardly an expert...i'm only doing physics, chemistry and biology A-levels - but I could answer the questions that some people asked - so why not!?) Although some of the questions are waaaay waaaaay past my level of education!!
Another good thing about this site is the fact that as soon as you recieve an answer or you're asked an question directly (if you've signed up as an expert people can ask you specific questions just to you) then you get an email through telling you who and when answered/asked you it. So you don't have to keep going to the site just to check! Along with the general fact that this site is brilliant, you also get ranked as to how good your answers are (again only if you are an "expert"). There is supposed to be some sort of a reward scheme for the highest "experts" but so far i've not heard anything of it!
Either way this site is brill...and i'm sure whatever your interests you'll find something on the site thats cool!
If only id found it last year when I tried endlessly trying to figure out GCSE Maths!!
The only disadvantage (although its just annoying - not really a disadvantage) is that some people simply do not rate your answers...for example on person in the biology one ask's endless questions that you can find the answers to in a dictionary half the time. Like I dont mind answering them but I can honestly say she has not once rated my answers.
Advantages: It's FREE! Get an answer quickly to any subject under the sun Disadvantages: Have to be careful in the psychics section!

There are cash prizes for experts who answer so many questions in a 3 month period (that’s what it used to be ... ...site by being an expert, it’s NOT like Ciao and you don’t get paid for every question you answer, you will only get paid once you’ve managed a very high rank overall and in your chosen subject area and then only if you’re lucky! I came across askme.com while reading some opinions on the Ciao.com site. Like thousands of others sites, I never knew it existed until reading about it through the opinion on Ciao.com. Even though the opinion was somewhat brief, it contained enough material to arouse the curiosity in me, and when I logged off from the Ciao.com, I headed towards askme.com. Askme.com is one of the best services the Internet has to offer. The site is comprised of over 15000 experts in all kinds of categories. The experts are volunteers from all walks of life. If you are an expert in an area, apply if you are interested in helping others. However,you must qualify to be accepted as an expert. Anyone can join and ask the experts questions - for free! I have asked several legal questions (to specialized attorneys). I have ... ...doctor suddenly left town this summer, leaving me nothing but my medical records. (That's another story!) I have asked several questions about website hosts, search engine placement, and even about the whereabouts of a specific gif (graphic) that I was looking for over the Net. You can ask a specific expert in a category or place it on the board for all the experts in that area to view and answer. You even have the choice of keeping your question ...

Advantages: Since I started using the sight I have seen no abuse on it what so ever and eevrything is kept private if asked for. Disadvantages: You have to take a few minutes to sign up and keep that name for all your problems and catogories.
Askme.com is an excellent help sight with catergories from homework help to sexual health and everything in between!
Askme is a large group of people all over the world who have got together to give everyone and anyone advice on absoloutely everything. As an expert myself I must say that the majority of users reply within a day,but all depends on the experts that answer your question. All your received answers will be sent to you by email (your ... ...increase of abuse on Askme. This includes one very nasty girl who verbally ubuses everyone and takes the mick out of people's problems. From my opinion Askme.com has now been abandoned by its owners and there is no-one there to respond to emails. A shame for such a good site. ...

Advantages: Very helpful, free, you can also help others. Disadvantages: Not enough of these sites
Every single person in this world has problems, some need help with theirs and askme is a great place to get that help.
You can ask them anything from abuse to drugs, from marrage to kids and so much more. You don't pay them anything the help is free. There are so many people out there who is willing to help you in anyway they can.
Don't sit back and think it will all go away in the morning because you and I know that won't happen.
You don't have ... ...to. If your just wanting help on finding informaiton on something like finding out about a collection of yours such as Dolls or Teddy Bears there is someone there who will help. No matter what you want to talk about this is the best place I have found so far, I have managed to help some people myself. Its great when you know you can help. If you wanted to help someone then you can sign up for free. You decide what you want to help with.
