For the prospective seller, the costs of selling are an important factor. In comparison to those mentioned, QXL listing charges and auction success charges are higher than Freeserve and Yahoo is free. Of course, one should also browse for a while to determine what the selling prices are, for these do vary from auction to auction. Presentation, ease of use and facilities offered are, to my mind, secondary to the financial aspects. Nevertheless, QXL falls behind the other auction sites in this area as well.
