Auction Arms allows us to search for something we may want to purchase. Before you begin to think this website is just a place filled with guns and illegal transactions, let me explain to you the laws that govern these sales.
Here all sales MUST go through Federally Licensed Firearms Dealers. Not just anyone can get these licenses, generally a few people, and gun stores have them. In order to purchase a firearm from Auction Arms, you must first win at the auction, then you must line up a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer to receive the firearm and legally complete the transaction. No guns are just shipped to you the buyer. All guns must go to a dealer in your state, then he has you fill out the proper paperwork, and then has the background checks conducted. Finally, if the Authorities say you may go ahead with the purchase, you will pick up the gun from the dealer.
Auction Arms just brings together buyers and sellers of mostly used firearms. It is run like any auction site, you place your bid, you may place a maximum on your bid, and you can keep track of the bidding on any item.
Items are easy to find on Auction Arms. You just click on the category you wish to search through, be it handguns, revolvers or semi-auto pistols, Shotguns, or Rifles, Antiques, and Accessories. These are just a few of the categories available on Auction Arms.
Auction Arms also has a message board where people leave comments and discuss certain issues.
Auction Arms is like any other auction site, only it has products which many people blame for crime out of their own ignorance. Like any other site, there are also dishonest people on the site who will wait for a money order to be sent and never send the product, this has happened a few times in Auction Arms' history, but it has happened to one of my friends. Like all auction sites, this one requires trust between sellers and buyers.
