My husband has been kitting out a workshop and has been waiting for the right opportunity to buy his machinery for woodworking. We have kept our eyes on the prices in the U.K. because not only is the steel stronger and the blades more longlasting, but my husband's knowledge of the products is better in the U.K. than in France. We looked at the website, and we have a regular email contact with the company that tell us all about sales on tools, and last week they had a massive Exhibition in Exeter where machines are up for grabs at inexpensive prices. The products are all of excellent quality, the service is great and the prices are far better than you will find in any shop. I've been using Axminster Tools since the early 90's and have never been disappointed. Yo can choose from a wide range of manufacturers and a complete product range. I occasionally travel to them for a look around the show rooms and a visit to their local Fish and Chip Shop. The Town is pleasant and the showrooms are great. Kids in sweet shops comes to mind. Stock has been accurate and postage prompt, life doesn't get much better for a Tool Junkie like me. Pros :- Fast, competitive, great range and nice people. Cons :- I'm struggling to think of something.
