I too have tried to buy a baby car seatonline and after enquirying where it is via email, (we could not contact them via the phone) they have advised that ...
"....We apologise for the delay with your order. We do not have a precise date for delivery but it is likely to be a further ten to fourteen days..."
Thinking this was strange I researched and found these reviews. I have consequently asked for a refund and contacted my bank.
I think the it is only fair that if a refund is not made within 30 days, to report such cases to the Office of Fair Trading, http://www.oft.gov.uk/. Furthermore, if it can be shown that this is not an isolated case, to ask that Google consider delisting their site www.babies247.com from their naturalised and paid for search.
There is no excuse for poor service online any longer and it is particulary poor given that the site caters for babies and kids.
