I recently bought these hair straighteners at half price (£24.49) and consider it a bargain. The straighteners are extremely hot and even though I have ridiculously thick hair my hair straightens in one stroke. The only issue I have now is that my hair is becoming slightly damaged but I'm sure that it is nothing I can't prevent with a bit of heat protect spray. The straighteners are very easy to use although the heat proof material on them does still get too hot to hold but as it is still cool enough to touch there is no danger. The heat proof mat provided with the straighteners is a godsend - no more singed surfaces! It also rolls up to form a convenient carry pack preventing your straighteners from damage and meaning you can pack them even when they are still hot.
