This won't be a site for everyone as Baen is a publisher of Science Fiction and Fantasy books only by such authors as Andre Norton, Piers Anthony, David Weber, Anne McCaffrey, Larry Niven and Poul Anderson. I'd heard of them before but it wasn't until a friend told that Wen Spencer's new book Tinker was being published as part of their Web Subscription service that I actualy took a look at their site www.baen.com. What they do is offer e-books on ... ...the older sci fis from the 50s and 60s that you can't get anymore .You can buy individual e-books at around $4 or $5 each, or you can buy a months worth of books for $15. I actually haven't heard of a service like this anywhere else, basically they serialise their due books each month, so that the books are published in quarters and you get to read it before the book is published in print format.
