What a strange name for a free to enter game, in fact everything about this is bananas, well that’s except the one important thing, they pay when you win. I have won and they have sent cheques. Now before I start getting all the begging letters I best explain.
When they first started you could have up to three entries per day, and if you matched 3 numbers then you would win 50p. After the launch period they dropped the amount of entries ... ...numbers. They have since decided against continuing with the 50p win, well it does make sense if you add postage and administration costs then each 50p would cost around £1. I would have liked them to retain the 50p wins and have an account with them so when (if) you reach say £10 then you could get a cheque sent. But I digress as I said I have won and been paid, in fact I have had six wins, all 50p wins for a grand total of £3, so its not going ... more

But I digress as I said I have won and been paid, in fact I have had six wins, all 50p wins for a grand total of £3, so its not going to change my life but its free to enter and winning even small amounts can be fun, just look at the amount of people who bet a few on the Grand National and are happy winning a few pennies.
Playing this game once registered is simplicity itself, first select six numbers then select a banana number (like a bonus ball on the national lottery, except you will need this as well as 6 numbers to win the jackpot), these numbers can be saved to your lucky numbers list to save you having to remember the numbers every time you play. Then click on an advertisement banner and a little pop up appears telling you that your numbers are being entered into the draw, this then changes to tell you that they have indeed been entered.
You can play this game once per day, seven days a week and new games start at 5:30pm on each day. They email you the results as well as a confirmation that your numbers have been entered into the draw. I have not received Spam from them, so I am happy with that. Since the launch of Bananalotto there has been over 373,155 cheques sent out: 346,043 for 50 pence, 26,596 for £5.00, and 512 for £50. Along with four £100,000 winners. That’s plenty of bananas. Netarget Ltd is the registered UK Company responsible for developing Bananalotto. I like that they have a postal address, to me it add legitimacy to the company, mind you so did them sending me cheques. Netarget Ltd, Friars House, 157-168 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8EZ.
At Present the prizes on offer are as follows
Two numbers gets you a 50p CDWOW voucher, this can be used as a discount when purchasing a CD from (surprise surprise) CDWOW.
Three Numbers gets you a fitness first weekend pass,
Here is where it starts to get interesting
4 Numbers and you win £5 5 Numbers and you win £50 6 Numbers and you win £100,000 6 Numbers plus the banana number and you win a cool £1,000,000
The company unlike some Internet based companies is still going from strength to strength, they are developing and evolving all the time.
I will continue to play as it only takes a minute each day and it’s a pound cheaper than a line on the national lottery.
Advantages: Free, simple to register and play - you could win big!! Disadvantages: Odds against you winning top prize are massive!!
Bananalotto.co.uk is one of the few lottery style sites on the web that I stay loyal too. Offering a top prize of one million pounds I am prepared to spend a few minutes of my time each day in an attempt to do the impossible.
The great thing about bananalotto is that it's so simple to play. When you first log on a bright green and yellow screen greets you and the button to register is clearly marked.
**Registering**
Clicking on this takes you ... ...game this is an easy process. You have to give the usual details; name, address, date of birth and then answer a few profile questions about your interests, job, etc. The questions are not too personal and the whole registration process takes about five minutes. This only ever has to be done the first time you enter the site and if you use the same computer each time it even remembers you - otherwise you need to remember your password (which you ...

Online lotteries, that old Chestnut. Well it's not a chestnut, it's a banana but it's been knocking around for years. You never join up to these sites realistically thinking you'll get the jackpot and be able to quit work do you? Well it's really odd how these sites seem to sucker you in. We all get that 'Next year Rodders we'll be millionaires' feeling now and again. In fact 45,000 people play bananalotto everyday. I don't feel quite so much like ... ...Bananalotto are a marketing company, surprise-surprise, who get a mint from you clicking links from their site but I suppose it's good that they at least give some of this cash away every now and again.
When Bananalotto came to my attention on Loquax (another finger's crossed kind of site) I thought "Oh well, it's free". So what is it? have I quit work? Am I still bothering with it? Should you join?
How bananalotto works:
Each day you get to enter ...

Advantages: Free to enter, £1 Million top prize Disadvantages: Chances of winning greatly reduced
It's coming up for a year now since I first started playing bananalotto, and over that time, I've noticed the site slowly going downhill.
Originally when logging on to bananalotto, you could play 3 times a day for the chance to win £1 Million. This ensured that i won a prize (normally 50p!) almost every other week. Success rained down on me, and i won about £15 in total. Then the number of games you could play per day was reduced to 1 per day and ... ...drastically reduced, I persevered however, and won a few more 50p's.
And then my winnings dried up. Without any notification from the site, the 50p win for matching 3 numbers was withdrawn. The first I knew was when I matched 3, and received my e-mail saying "You've matched 3 numbers - Sorry, you haven't won this time" My initial reaction was to stop playing altogether, but after all, I'm not playing to win 50p, I'm playing to win a Million!

Advantages: A chance to win a million DAILY! Disadvantages: Slightly harder to get all 7 numbers right for a million!
Going to a big yellow banana's site has never really been top of my priorities, strange that! But what would you say if I told you that by visiting this site you have a chance of winning a million pounds daily!!! Mmmmmm, but what are the chances of winning that I hear you say. If you're interested read on.......................
What are the chances of winning?
Well, I have read a number of reports where people have won 50 p's. But I think BrianLFC ... ...that they Bananalotto let you open up an account where you can save all the 50 p's you have won and then when the amount reaches £10 you can ask for the money. Because, to be honest it would be quite embarrassing going to the bank with a cheque for 50 p, don't you think? So if you agree with BrianLFC's brilliant idea, please leave a comment after this report, which will then act as a petition. I will then forward all comments to Bananalotto.co.uk.

Advantages: It'slike a lottery but free Disadvantages: You are more likely to find me doing the washing up than you are to win 50p
Banana Lotto, it's like a lottery, but free, crooned the voice of Leslie Philips on our TV sets a little over a year ago. It's only like a lottery because you can win money; it isn't an actual lottery because it is free. The dictionary definition of lottery can explain better than my own literary meanderings. Lottery noun [C] A game, often organized by the state or a charity in order to make money, in which people buy tickets with numbers on them. ... ...who have tickets with those numbers on them win prizes, esp. prizes of money.
(Disapproving) If you describe something as a lottery, you mean that it depends only on luck and it is not very fair.
As you all probably know, you can win £1,000,000 everyday on banana lotto.
So how can you win cash prises with out making a monetary contribution to the prize fund? Well my little freebie seekers…I'm going to tell you later. First this…
What where and ...
