When my older daughter, who is now 5 years old, started nursery, I found myself very soon confronted with the situation, that they tried to teach her how to use a computer and that she therefore showed more and more interest in mine. I spend a lot of time on the Cbeebies website with my son. http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/ The Website The first thing you will notice when you log onto the website is how bright and colourful it is , my son loves to pick out the different colours. Cbeebies website is full of the characters that are on Cbeebies tv such as Bob the Builder , Tweenies , Chugginton , and Postman Pat. CBeebies.co.uk...... The website for CBeebies is brilliant and many hours can be spent looking for your child's favourite character or printing out pictures to colour in. CBeebies is a channel designed specifically for pre-school children. It is located on channel 614 Sky or 71 digibox. The website for the channel can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies. The website itself is very easy to navigate around and from the main menu screen you can find anything you want to relating to the programmes that are shown on the TV channel. The resurrection of an old computer for the kids in our house recently (a Christmas break "mini-project for their Dad, actually!) has resulted in amazingly quiet Saturday mornings - all thanks to the Cbeebies website - http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies ! "Ooh look, Daddy, it says 'Good Morning' ", our 7-year old said one day, prior to demonstrating how many treasures she could find in the Flowerpot Men's garden. The 6-year old spends ages colouring-in pictures of the Teletubbies or putting frogs into trees and woodpeckers into the pond on one of the games. "What's my e-mail address, Daddy?" as one ... more
