This is a must see site. If you like to dabble in imaginary stocks and shares and love all types of celebrities then have a look at Celebdaq.

WARNING this will become addictive and after only a month of playing daily I have added the link onto my toolbar. It can be very exciting and you could make or lose thousands of pounds in just one hour. Don't forget I have already told you it is all imaginary stocks and shares. This is not real so do not go worrying about spending any money at all.

To join the site is free. You register giving only very basic information then update your profile at a later date. You have to update your profile if you want to take part in the weekly competition for £100.00. The details you add then must include your telephone number and postcode. On a Friday if you have won they will try and contact you for four hours only.

The first nice thing is you are given a huge amount of money to start dealing in shares with, £10,000 thanks to the BBC for this play money. They run Celebdaq by the way. You can either choose your own celebrities but can if nervous the first time choose an automatic pick. The prices will fluctuate as in a real world. Each week you are paid a dividend and the price depends on how often they have been in certain papers. You are not told which ones. You will get the top dividend per celebrity only if you have owned the shares for 2.5 days at least. Otherwise you get a portion of the dividend

The site is extremely slow to load and very frustrating. I have sold shares expecting to immediately purchase more and seem to have to close the site and re enter every two - three clicks. Pretty boring and plain to look at but we are not playing the usual online game here so don't expect too much excitement. Simplicity in itself to navigate. You have around 100 celebrities to choose to spend a little time with you. This week I had mostly Jordan shares and made a killing.

The site is still going strong with loads of new features such as news on what the celebs are up to at present. Many of them are now contestants in I'm a celebrity this year.
