I am a lazy student who is now at university and I think that the GCSE bitesize revision website is a blessing in disguise for all GCSE students. I know people get the whole, “GCSEs are easy” from older students, but I can appreciate that they are the hardest things to those that are sitting them at the time. I found the website easy to use. It made revision more entertaining and easy, in that all the issues are addressed and especially in math, in an easy to follow step-by- step guide. Apart from it having colours (which most text books fail to have), it has pictures and animations which makes the work seem less boring and a bit more entertaining.

When you enter in to the site, you choose your subject, a topic and then a sub-topic. If you read the texts and do the test at the end, you will be very surprised at how much you know. Also included on the website and even on the videos ( I know that they come on very early but it that’s what the record button and alarm clock are for- if you don’t know how to use a timer that is!!) are teachers' and examiners' tips. I would highly recommend that you take these into consideration. But I would especially recommend going through past exam questions and doing the work set out on both the video and the website. When I took my exam in June 2000, I used both sources for revision and when it came to the exam, I found one of the example used in the both the video and the website, on the exam paper!

If you use such things as revision aids, and practice exam questions under exam conditions(or as close to this) then you will surely be ready for the exam. This website was my safeheaven ( an A*, 5Bs and 2Cs later...) when I was doing my GCSEs and I regard it as being the best for that type of exam- Good Luck with your exams and your revision!!!
