I am glad to see that other people share my opinion of Benson's World. Although not the largest online retailer, and certainly not the flashiest website, Benson's World offers good service, and keen prices.

Over the last year, Bensonsworld in the UK has proven to be one of THE most reliable online DVD retailers. Great selection, fair prices, super-friendly with top notch customer service. they answer your e-mails quickly and delivery is super fast and as always, it's free! The European R2 Universal Classic Monsters DVD's hit the street yesterday and sure enough, I got home from work today and my disc's were waiting for me! Never a problem with these ... ...they are PAL and region coded as R2 and R4. I got the following three:
The Invisible Man - Also features "Now You See Him: The Invisible Man Revealed" documentary, feature length commentary with Rudy Behlmer and production photos.
Bride Of Frankenstein - Also features "She's Alive! Creating The Bride Of Frankenstein" documentary, feature length commentary from Scott MacQueen, the Bride Of Frankenstein archive and theatrical trailer.

Advantages: none Disadvantages: They will waste your time
My father was having trouble getting hold of a DVD (Delius - Song Of Summer). He asked me to see if I could find it online and get it delivered. I placed the order on the 22/04/2007 and received confirmation that the DVD was in stock and would be despatched to my father's address. However, I then received another email on 09/05/2007 stating that the "we had a temporary
issue where deleted items became available to purchase". This seems to be a standard ... ...show items as 'in stock' and 'ready of despatch', but as soon as you place the order, a 'problem' develops - i.e. they never had it in stock in the first place and now need to order it from the distributor. Sometimes (as in this case) they can't get hold of a copy. Total waste of time and effort. I won't be using them again. ...

Benson’s world is one of the longest establishment mail order companies within the UK, and part of Mr Benson’s world of entertainment. Established in 1980 as a video rental shop. The company Expanded during 1985 selling videos worldwide by mail order.
