Advantages: excellent sound, comfort and durability Disadvantages: none at all it even blocks outside noise
...Wanting a pair of in ear headphones in a bud like shape to help remove background noise when working out in the gym and jogging along main roads the BeyerdynamicDTX 50 were recommended to me by a friend who has used them without problems for some time. Having had the opportunity to experience the sound quality prior to purchase I had no problems parting with £47 for the wired headphones that have now for over 12 months kept my tunes pumped into my head and the outside world out.
The buds sit easily in the ear and the rubber coating is really soft and acts as a barrier between the ear and the plastic sections that are really well made and rock solid which means the ultimate in comfort even when pounding away on the treadmill. Advantages: Long lead, great bass responce. Disadvantages: Have found any
...Beyer DTX 700 are a great pair of head phone, they have a great bass response and noise cancellation.
They have a 3 metre which is useful when moving around because you don't have to worry about pulling the lead out.

There turning 90 degrees to lie flat I found is very useful because it...

...I've owned these headphones for a number of years now. I chose them because being in or around the music industry i knew that beyerdynamic was the industry standard. The BBC use mostly DT100's for example.
I paid i think £150 which to me was a lot of money for a set of headphones back then. I tried them on in the shop and instantly knew they were the headphones for me as they were so comfortable you didnt really know you had them on which is rare for a fully enclosed headphone.
On getting them home i played some pink floyd through them using a fairly high end home set up. The sound response was remarkable. There were things coming through from the music i had never even heard before. This being because of the very large frequency response. It was like discovering my cd collection again. I have also used them on hi-fi of all...
