The problem with bidding for items outside of your native country, is that payment can sometimes be a hassle. If they don't accept credit cards, you may have to go to the bank and get some cash in their currency to send to them - well, if the seller can accept money-orders in US dollars, then BidPay.com will likely provide the answer.
Once you sign up with BidPay.com, you can send money orders at the press of a button. You just need to give them the details (how much the MO is for, where to send it, the auction site, item number etc), and they'll handle it on your behalf, charging the money order (plus a $5 - or £3 - charge) to your credit card. This is infinitely useful, and really quick. Often, once they know the MO is on the way, the seller will ship your item straight away. Since buying foreign currency usually costs about £3 anyway, you're actually saving money most of the time.
I've used BidPay dozens of times, and have not had any problems whatsoever. Their Website may not look very professional, but they get the job done. Excellent.
