...I have been using Bidz.com for a few months now and find it an excellent source of cheap and reasonable Sterling Silver, Yellow + White Gold jewellery. The free shipping section is the ONLY place I bid for obvious reasons and the fact that the other sections charge HIGH shipping costs. Now...you will rarely win an item for $1 as there as so many people on this site and the regulars know all the tricks and must have eons of time to sit for hours ...
...However...if you have plenty of time and patience, you will get a bargain or a few...for $2-3 upwards....you will get silver cheap, but check against Argos and other cheap high street retailers as I have found some of the items selling on bidz for the same if not more expensive price..So go for the more unusual items that have a heavy weight, and try to avoid the lightweight chains unless you can get them for $4 or less. ...Better Business Bureau has given BIDZ.com an 'F' rating. The BBB's report on this company states that "a number of complainants insist that the delivery packages arrived empty and did not contain their purchase. In other cases, purchasers said deliveries arrive with incorrect merchandise or fail to arrive at all." I purchased on Bidz.com several times. Was extremely dissatisfied with the most of the products I received from them, especially rings and earrings. The pictures are very deceiving!!! I think it does make sense to buy watches from them. I kept a pair of Freeze watch. They indeed are much cheaper than if I have bought it in regular store. So I returned several items on July 30, 2007. Today is August 17, 2007. Still NO REFUND! Their customer service is not helpful at all. They keep telling me 'tomorrow'. I told them that if I don't get my refund in 3 days I would have to file a chargeback and they threatened me by deleting my account. "NICE" customer service! I am afraid I will end up filing a chargeback.

...when it comes to the postage. You have got 7 days to pay for your items, i.e. buy what you like for 7 days - then fill in the payment details. You can buy as many items as you like. But do watch out for the postage, the P&P for the first item bought is around $30.00, every other items P&P is $3.00. On top of this, depending on the final amount, taxes will be added.
