Though Binaural Beats Technology was known to man for over one-hundred-and-fifty years, it is only in the past one decade that it has exploded over the self-development scene as a New Age product. Despite the heavy marketing being done by SEO Gurus and internet marketing seers, it is surprising to come across posters in forums who have health-related complaints, who are on debilitating drugs, but still are blissfully unaware of this technology's existence and utility.
For the benefit of the newbie, Binaural beats are a sequence of sounds that are produced on the terra-firma of the brain when you put on a stereo-headphone, and the music you hear in both the ears is essentially the same, but one ear receives music at a pitch different from the other. The difference is very small, ranging usually from 1Hz to 50Hz. When the sound waves from the two ears reach the neurons, they begin to tap-dance at a frequency which is equal to this difference. When you pick up the CD which is right for you, what you get to hear is a soundtrack that plays to create binaural beats and entrain the brain. By consistently entraining the brain thus, I have discovered that not only certain biological problems, but psychological issues too have been resolved and let go. Items received: One CD per item. I purchased the following CDs:
1. First Digital Drug
2. Headache Release
3. Total Relaxation.
The "First Digital Drug" was for a woman entering menopause (menses had stopped for the past two months), "Headache Release" was for a boy with persistent sinus problems, and "Total Relaxation" is for myself.
Here are my results:
1. The woman had a general feeling of euphoria immediately after the first session. Her mood swings, grouchiness, irritability stopped remarkably within the first week. Her daughter-in-law reported more peace and less heated arguments over petty matters in the household (they are a joint family).
2. The sinus boy's sinus and headaches began reducing in a week's time. He is now better able to respond to the medicines he has been prescribed.

Here are some tips that I can pass on to those using these CDs:
1. Get good quality stereophonic headsets. Ordinary headsets didn't give me the desired results.
2. Keep the volume low.
3. Keep your eyes closed. I had trouble getting the menopause woman to keep her eyes closed while she was listening!
4. When the binaural beat is playing, focus on what it is that is being healed. Perhaps it is a relationship issue, perhaps it is success in life, perhaps it is relief from stress and anxiety, perhaps it is eliminating self-imposed limitations ... whatever. The main point is: focus on the issue positively, focus on the end-result, think that what you had started out to seek, is already there in your life. Remember, binaural beats are creating the right environment in your brainscape, and you have to use this environment to its fullest in order to achieve your desired goal.
5. Don't keep listening to the CD for hours together! That is not how it is meant to be! The brain has several other functions to perform, besides looking into your particular problem. So it is best to listen to the CD for one run everyday.
Binaural beats are fascinating: they are a drugless way to resolving issues in your life. You have to listen to the CDs to feel the difference, my mere words are inadequate. It is like trying to describe in words what "a sweet taste" means, to somebody who has never ever known what sweetness means in their life!
